Hello! Welcome to Broken Hearts Animal Rescue. This is an ALL ANIMAL RESCUE GROUP dedicated to improving the circumstances and lives of the animals we share this world with regardless of breed, species, or circumstance. My name is Jessi and I have been rescuing animals for years now, focusing specifically on animals that are labeled “un-adoptable” by animal shelters and other organizations due to injury, temperment, breed, or age. My Fiancee and I welcome these animals into our home and hearts until they can find a permanent family, some will stay here until they take their last breath. Each animal has made a mark on my heart, and I believe that all animals deserve a second chance. No animal should be punished for their owners’ inability to properly care for them. Too many animals die needlessly each year due to owner negligence, cruelty, or inability, and I aim to provide an alternative to euthanasia and shelter life and help these animals find their “forever homes”. No animals have ever been turned away at Broken Hearts.

I believe that public education about animals that are labeled “un-adoptable” or “naturally aggressive” is key in ending the ongoing abuse and suffering. Educating children and adults about the responsibilities of animal ownership will help influence the current public opinion on animal care, and help mold a more compassionate future generation. No animal should suffer at the merciless hands of an ignorance.
